Commercial property owners have agreed to form a CID to serve as a tool to facilitate infrastructure improvements connected to the redevelopment of the former Doraville General Motors assembly plant and the surrounding area.

NOTICE OF ASSEMBLY COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NOTICE OF ASSEMBLY COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT ELECTION AND BOARD MEETING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN as provided in the DEKALB COUNTY COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS ACT OF 2008 (Ga. L. 2008, p. 3817), as amended (the “Act”), that a caucus of the Electors of the Assembly Community Improvement District (t h e “District”) shall be held on the 13th of August, 2020, at Doraville Sixty Marketing Trailer, 5801 Peachtree Road, Doraville, Georgia 30341. The purpose of the caucus is to elect 3 board members to serve on the District’s Board of Directors in Posts 1, 4 and 6, in accordance with the provisions of the Act.
Registration for the election shall be held from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Voting will occur immediately thereafter. Each Elector who has arrived at the registration table and registered by 8:30 a.m. shall be eligible to vote. No absentee voting is permitted. A meeting of the Board of Directors will be held immediately after voting has ended. All Electors, as designated under the Act, are invited to attend and cast their votes. A map of the District and list of properties included therein are on file with the City of Doraville and the DeKalb County Tax Commissioner.
